This Pricing Protection Policy is designed to protect brands, retailers, and the overall marketplace by maintaining fair, consistent, and sustainable pricing.
1. PURPOSE
CLO TradeHub is committed to supporting healthy brand growth and fair trade practices.
This policy helps prevent:
- Price undercutting
- Market disruption
- Brand devaluation
2. TRADE PRICING CONFIDENTIALITY
2.1 Trade prices are confidential and must not be:
- Publicly displayed
- Shared with unauthorised parties
- Used for price comparisons or marketing claims
3. RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICING (RRP / MAP)
3.1 Trade Partners are expected to:
- Respect Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) or Minimum Advertised Prices (MAP), where applicable
- Maintain pricing integrity across all sales channels
3.2 Excessive discounting, dumping, or loss-leader pricing is discouraged unless part of an approved promotion.
4. SALES CHANNEL CONTROL
4.1 Products must not be sold on:
- Unauthorised marketplaces
- Flash-sale platforms
- Auction or clearance sites
without prior written approval.
4.2 Cross-border reselling that disrupts local markets may result in corrective action.
5. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS
5.1 Promotions should:
- Be time-limited
- Align with brand positioning
- Not damage long-term pricing perception
5.2 CLO TradeHub reserves the right to:
- Review promotional activities
- Request pricing adjustments where necessary
6. VIOLATIONS & ENFORCEMENT
Pricing violations may result in:
- Written warning
- Temporary suspension of trade access
- Termination of trade account
CLO TradeHub aims to resolve issues fairly and collaboratively, but reserves the right to act decisively to protect brands and partners.
7. POLICY UPDATES
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
